Riverton School Calendar Update pending board approval.

Make-up Days due to Snow Days: Riverton Schools will be in session - Next Friday, March 7th and Monday, April 21st.

For Seniors to fulfill their credit requirements for graduation, they will have an attendance day on May 7. (Their usual practice day for graduation.)

In addition, a day of school will be added to the calendar at the end of the school year, making the last day for students May 16th.

These plans will require the school board to forgive four days of attendance for the school year. Consequently, with these dates in place, we will meet the minimum requirements set forth by the state of Kansas.

Remember, this is pending board approval and when confirmed, we will send out an official notice.

There is a board meeting scheduled for tomorrow morning. However, we wanted to get this information out as soon as possible so that you could make preparations. Thank you for understanding this unique situation.
